one thousand five hundred.

This image marks my fifteen hundreth (yes, #1,500) upload to Flickr. It's been just a bit over six years since I joined this community, and it continues to surprise and delight me. I've come a long way, myself, from those first few uploads. I've graduated vet school, moved to Oregon, and settled happily into Portland. My photography has evolved as well, and I hope that it continues to do so.

So, many thanks to all of you, out there... for the encouragement, the interest and the inspiration.

Image made with a Hasselblad 500 C/M, on the edge of the Northern Ireland coast.

The green is stunning in this. Phenomenal ambience captured. I love the contrast of the bright colour with the moody light mist and gorgeous contrasty clouds.

Awesome green in this, Danielle. The dramatic storm clouds add so much to the image. What a location and what a time to be there!

Oh this is gorgeous! I was gonna say I have a long way to go, then I looked at my streams and realized I past 1,500 a long time ago, in a much shorter time frame. :) Posting 100 photos per day will do that. :) I've loved following the uniqueness of your work, and have continuously been impressed. I'm looking forward to the next 1,500. :)

This is wonderful, but really needs to be viewed large to fully appreciate the details; the cluster of buildings by the water, the lane that winds through the mid-ground and then reappears briefly in the background, and the little black and yellow dots in the fields that you realize are the sheep grazing... Congrats on a great photostream.
