the lure of the lake
(For the Nature Conservancy group:
Subject: Lake Crescent Location: Olympic Peninsula, Washington State Photographer: Danielle Hughson) The color of the water at Crescent Lake in Washington is unbelievable - the only time I've seen blues like it was at St. Mary's Lake in Glacier National Park. Pinhole did a swell job with this scene, I think. This exposure was only a few seconds long, but it captured the gold rocks, the teal and blue water, and the vivid sky that day quite nicely.
