Taking a holiday out of this world

Taking a holiday out of this world by Manυ.
... at a friend's house in Deauville (or close to it), Normandy, France.
The equirectangular version of this panorama is not great, since I lacked a couple pictures in the sky, so you won't see it, sorry! :)

Very nice ! beautiful shot(s)
PS : don't tell me you weren't able to fake a piece of this perfectly uniform blue sky... Find a better excuse ! (however I always have the same problem : ~35mm doesn't allow you to shoot straight up and still catch land details on which to find control points...)

I can fake the sky when it's uniform, sure, but here the problem was near the sun, so I had a patch to fill that had to go from almost white to dark, intense blue. A great part of the sky here is faked, but it was more difficult beyond this.

To fill holes when the sky is not uniform, I usually try the "smart remove selection" script that comes with the resynthetizer plugin for The Gimp. It don't always work nicely, but often it'll help.

The fisheye lens or fisheye effect is so often over- or mis-used. This is a truly original application. Bravo!

thx for the invite!
thank you... however this has nothing to do with fisheye: it was not shot with a fisheye lens, nor is it a simulation of a fisheye lens... visit my planets set for more info if you wish :)
