ANZAC Day #8

"... is for you who were our future"

Just part of the engravings into the tomb which feature the whole way around the tomb itself. It's a stylish but dignified memorial. Not stuffy, not a designer's pet project. Worth a visit if you're ever in Wellington. :-)

    Quite a cool day really. I say that in a respectful way, not pass it off blasé. It's felt quite good to be allowed to enjoy and appreciate the day too, despite being a very young Kiwi. It's good. I like it. :-)
