Svele are a type of Norwegian pancake. They're light and fluffy, but cakey, with a wonderfully delicate flavour of eggs and vanilla. Spread with a simple buttercream and sprinkled with sugar, they're simple and delicious. I fell in love with them last summer.
This one was freshly made at a wonderful little cafe' in the Alnes lighthouse.
