Which camera did you use before that one?

And I'm assuming you use Photoshop?

I looked at the sizes that camera shoots in.. none of them shrink into 1280x800(without distortion). How do you get them to that size without clipping or distortion?

Yes. Photoshop (I take multiple pictures and stitch them together). I used to have a D100 and N90s.
