Highest Gas Price I’ve Seen…So Far

$5.29 - Price of regular gas in Bridgeport California on July 2nd 2008.
You could buy gas for 4.10 a gallon about 50 or 60 miles north in Gardnerville, Nevada. That’s where I filled up.

Holy Cow!!!! Here I'm boiling over the prices here in Oklahoma! I'm really worried about our trip to Colorado in September. Those diesel prices are what we are going to have to pay in order to pull our 5th wheel. :o(

Heh-heh... I recognized the location of that photo as soon as I saw it. I grew up there and my family still lives there (I live in the Pacific NW). Sadly, I'm not at all surprised to see this station in the news (e.g., autobloggreen). C-R-A-Z-Y.
