Floods in Rotherham A month's rain fell in a few hours in South Yorkshire. Many areas of Sheffield and Rotherham were flooded. Most of Rotherham was without electricity.
This is one of the main roads in Rotherham, between Parkgate and the town centre. The police are warning the van driver and his friend that the road ahead is completely unpassable (see photo). But he's just determined to prove a point and give it a go! So he charged in, only to have to turn around a few seconds later... Monday 25 June 2007 - Day 29 of my Project 365. Comments
