Leaf Insect

Leaf Insect by Property#1.
t is said that photography teaches us to see things that normally go unseen. This is a prime example, these little insects at first looked like no more than bumps on the stalk. Then a closer look and I said new leaf buds this time of the year, now way. An even closer look revealed these amazing little guys who I watched for over an hour. The previous image with the ant shows how small they really are. I guess when you are this small camouflage is important

Very rightly said. Photography teaches a lot as how to see things in a new perspective.

Very nice image! It is a 'treehopper' in the family Membracidae, probably genus Ceresa. This is a calendar shot for sure:-)
