A bad day at the office

David and I were traveling home from our long weekend in the Southern Alps (pics to come) when we came across this derailed train. The accident happenened about one hour before we arrived and there were photographers everywhere but David was hoping to get THE shot to get into the newspaper. The man in orange was telling him off as I took this shot. Guess they were a bit embarrassed by the condition of the tracks as it appeared something had come loose...and certainly gone wrong. David's pic didn't make it into the paper and after we saw the front page news we were more than unimpressed by their shot. David voted this the best shot. :)

Oh yes, and no one was injured. It was a cargo train...no passengers except for the driver and he was fine albeit a bit shaken.
