Fashion Faux Pas by malias.
A green and orange ensemble, not to my tastes but to give credit where credit is due the shoes match the tie perfectly.

I think he is an Irishman - who probably teaches French language in high school - on holiday in Paris. He has certainly gone to some length to coordinate his attire in this way. Was the picture taken on St Patrick's Day?

Another more prosaic possibility is that he's a Metro official and he's wearing the uniform: check out the signage behind him. Maybe he sells train tickets? His partner looks stressed with the attention they're getting.
