A jar of truffles

At the Maison de la Truffe, Uzès, Gard, France. This is probably about 2000 euros (about US $2600) worth, or more, of black truffles.

Yes I have. They have a sort of crunchy, dense texture, and smell like nothing else on earth...very very intense mushroom-earth-kind of smell. It's a food you mainly eat with your nose I think, if that makes sense.
