Firestone Sheep

Firestone Sheep

Merino sheep graze in a field of Firestone Farm in Greenfield Village. The Firestone family raise this breed on the farm in Columbiana County, Ohio, in the late 19th century. The wool is especially sturdy and soft.

The lamb at right was kept in the barn until the weather was reliably warm.
