Sigma 50mm Test

First test shot with the Sigma 50mm F1.4 EX DG HSM. I'd looked for a Canon 50L but there don't appear to be any available for sensible money.

Will be good to see how the Sigma compares to Canon's 35L and 85L II :o)

Both May and Bella are feeling under the weather today. Following a trip to the doctor's May is now high on Lemsip, and Bella on Calpol. We headed out for a walk, but as soon as we stepped outside Mr Grey Clouds and his friend Mr Rain came to spoil our plans. Drat!

My Two Little Ladies

This was a test to see if using a circ polariser for portraiture is worthwhile.

My conclusion: for me, no. The colours are just too saturated, but thankfully the skin tones aren't badly affected.
