Faces of Sapa Series: In His Rightful Place on this Earth

This is one of those photos i had in mind, even before setting out for the trip. A man seen in peace with his place on this earth. i never had a good one. this is not the ideal one.
perhaps i may have wanted my dream shot so bad that led me into believing he is happy where he is. In the city i am living, i have known many who longed to be somewhere else. why do people always want to be somewhere else instead? maybe in some ways, we just want to believe such a place exists where only we can find peace. even when sometimes, we are made to seek hard and journey afar for this place; yet other times, it may just be wherever you are, where you start to make peace with. & i always thought i would know better.
