Crypt door, Paris. This crypt was also built unto a hill; the door themselves do not sit flush. The whole structure looked like it was leaning uphill.

Another lovely passage in Venice. Note how crooked the base of the entrance is; not only unsquare, but twisted and going uphill to the right.

Death's Door :-)
Crypt door in Paris. The crypt was built unto a hill, so there is a sense of crookedness along the bottom of the pix that I cannot edit out.
