O dzięki wielkie! Warto było pojechać do Korn-Wali tylko po to hehehehe... a koniki były super przyjazne i bardzo zainteresowane aparatem i w ogóle mnie nie pogryzły ani nie pokopały... A ten tutaj to jakby zorientował się o co chodzi i specjalnie pozę przyjął... ;)

Thank You Profrmdover, it was worth going to Corwall just for that hehehehe...amazing scenery and horses were a great Bonus! And there were very friendly and hospitable too, practically posing for the camera... ;)

Thank You for your kind comments once again. The quote under the picture was the first quote I came accross, in a yet another bizzare coincidence and pure luck related to this photo, and, if I may contribute a comment too lol, putting them words under this picture totally transformed those words for me, made them much more powerful and accessible, and I am still amazed how by just putting some words under some picture transforms them both, enhances and adds to each other qualities and they become so tangled up and interwoven so they are practically inseparatable.

Cheers! Frankly speaking I am not entirely sure, Shetland ponies seem to have much more hair flowing down their back, I am not an expert as You can tell hehehehehe... here is another picture, unfortunately against the sun as well, but You can see their shapes and hair maybe a bit better ;)

The astonishing aspect of this work, is how all the essential ingredients of the rhs shot are in the lhs shot, i.e. the tapering of the light at the top corners of the sky, the diagonal line at the bottom, the lines of the sea, and land yanking the eye towards Horsie. And the genius of Gimp is that it turned a promising photo into an artistic masterpiece, that is neigh (no pun intended) on impossible to conjur up conventially through point and click.
This picture takes a sunset and turns it into an alien cloudscape worthy of Titan's, and a nag is metamorphosed into an almost prehistoric looking beast, with its shaggy beard adding textural interest to the shot. Even the way the horse breaks up the horizon and is postitioned within the fame is masterful. I can only say this is a work of genius, for luck itself surely has not the power, natural selection aside, to produce an original artefact of genius as this.

The tilted horizon makes this image a bit unbalanced. I wonder whether off-centre composition would look better, for example having the horse where you now have the background land which isn't particulary attractive. I wish you kept the horse's feet in the picture.
