Tennant and Spalding on the Future of the Catalog
Roy Tennant (left) and Tim Spalding (right) have some similarities in appearance when seen from this distance (back of the dreaded column room). More on catalogs, openness, sharing, stable links, tagging, recommendations, etc.
Spalding notes that while PennTags has 60k tags total, that's as much as LibraryThing gets in ONE DAY. You have to work together on these things. He suggested the LTTC (Library Thing Tagging Collection) with an OCLC mock logo. CommentsWould you like to comment?Sign up for a free account, or sign in (if you're already a member). |
