An unusual feature in the construction of this tomb was this balcony. It is symbolic of Hindu architecture in the Gujrati style hinting that perhaps special artisans were brought in for its construction.

This kind of detailed stone carving is very much an influence from the Hindu tradition of carving on some of their sacred temples. Instead of idols, however, elaborate lotus flower and paisley designs dominate the carvings on Jam Nindo’s tomb.
