The Golden Dollar coin. Its good on buses and its the only change the MetroCard vending machines will give back. They take paper bills but they spit out these as change.

Just a few different ways for you to pay for your ride on either the New York City and Boston Transit systems. The selection includes the current NYC MetroCard, an old NYC Bullet token, and a ten pack of bullet tokens, a single token from the Boston transit system (often called the 'T' ).
