The Original Radio Revolution
Radio Free Hawaii at 102.7 on the FM dial was one of the most radical radio stations of its day as they played all kinds of music based on what people voted for. The station started in 1991 and ended in late 1994 only to start again at the same studio and frequency in 1995 before finally coming to an end in March 1997. Over the years the station was in existence, I collected all of their Top 36 Hawaii Island Music Reports which I recently found again at the request of someone at the "new" Radio Free Hawaii. Now I have to put em back in order because on one day they fell down and are out of order. More on the original Radio Free Hawaii at this link:
