EN ~ Granny went back to the South yesterday. It definitely took us down back to the reality of being immigrants far from the whole family. Saying goodbye isn’t as hard as bearing the emptiness you feel after the farewell. [+]

ES ~ Abuelita regresó ayer al sur. Definitivamente esto nos lanzó duramente de vuelta a la realidad de ser inmigrantes lejos de la familia. Decir adiós no es tan duro como soportar el vacío que queda luego de la despedida. [+]

EN ~ Last summer it took me by surprise this urge of touching Le Château while I was walking at Quebec City with my Nikon. The feeling of the rough surface under my fingers made think about the greatness of such a powerful place and I felt very small and ephemeral. I didn’t thought I’d be inside anytime soon… and yet, I did it! The best part? I wasn’t alone. [+]

ES ~ El verano pasado me tomó por sorpresa la urgencia de tocar Le Château mientras caminaba por la ciudad de Quebec con mi Nikon. La sensación de la superficie áspera bajo mis dedos me hizo pensar en la grandeza de un lugar tan poderoso como éste y me sentí pequeñita y efímera. Lejos estaba de imaginar que ingresaría a él en algún momento y sin embargo ¡lo hice! ¿La mejor parte? No estuve sola. [+]
