Herring Gull portrait

Took a walk along Harwich quay today as the sun was out and practiced a few portrait shots. Rather liked this Herring Gull shot, as they have such menacing eyes!

Weasel....A photo first for me!

I have seen so many Weasels over the years but never been quick enough with my camera, so to say I am pleased with this shot would be an understatement.......I am absoloutely ecstatic! I took it today in minus 2 degrees at Fingringhoe in Essex, while on a cold snowy walk.

Tiny Weasel

The Weasel managed to find a little clearing in the snow and stopped for a split second so I managed a second shot, which was totally different from the first....so I was doubly pleased! Taken in Fingringhoe, Essex.
