Looking at this photo, taken in about 1999, I realize how much I have learned. In more recent work, that stump would not be soft! At least I like to think I've learned stuff.

Apparently a Pole and Grass

I don't know where this was taken or why. For some reason it caught my eye when I was going through my film archive. I didn't add the vignetting. It's the old-fashioned (i.e. real) kind.

David on top of Paulina

The first "real" photo I ever took of David, less than a day after I met him. You'll note that he has no hair. This is on top of Newberry Crater in the Paulina lakes area. We'd been snowmobiling.
