Pink + Green

My grandmother is a breast cancer survivor. I've added this photo to the Passionately Pink for the Cure group to raise money for breast cancer research.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Yahoo! is donating $1 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure for each pink photo added to this pool up to $50,000.

That pool is having people add photos by the second. After I posted mine, I went back a couple of minutes later and there were about 20 photos already posted.

Thanks so much for that info - I'll be working on a photo. I have a good friend who's a survivor, but a sister-in-law who was a survivor for 9 years and just lost her fight a few weeks ago.

Beautiful shot! Thanks for the group info! Both my grandmothers died of cancer at the age of 50, and my dad's mother had a double, radical mastectomy. It would be nice to see an end to this in my lifetime! Keep spreading the word.
