Potawatomi Weave Ropes

Old beaded art dolls - new ropes. I found that Potawatomi is the perfect stitch to use when making ropes for beaded art dolls. The style suits them perfectly and the stitch is quick and easy.

Captured

The special gold finding was given to me by my mother to use in my beading. I captured it inside a peyote bracelet made with size 8 Japanese seed beads and a few sparkly beads. It is well over 2" wide so the clasp was a problem but after experimentation it now closes with ease - and stays closed.
