Do you want this to be reversible? - if so, I would consider writing the quote in the other direction too - have you tried writing it in red in the 'A'

and maybe - if you are going to fill in the 'A' you might want to fill in the 'R'

overall I think it is stronger than the original - nice :)

The thing is, I definitely need to change the white hand because it's supposed to look like it's suppressing the black hand. I may still play with the proportions although the black hand is supposed to look somewhat powerless to the white hand. But maybe it will be just as powerful if they are the same size.

And I may spilt the copy, we'll see. right now I'm trying to get the sense of this overwhelming graphic and really small type to draw you in. But it is a bit off balance.

So needs more play time... GREAT!! :) i'll see what eric says about it tomorrow
