A very foggy day in the National Forest, was hoping to spot an owl, or other animal in the deep mist.
This photo was in the March 2008 print edition of National Geographic.
It has also been a two page spread in JPG Magazine.
It won second place in the National Parks Foundation Share the
Experience Contest.
It won first place in John Faber Photo exhibit in the landscape
division by the Smith Mountain Arts Council.
It has been featured in Smashing Magazine and countless other websites
and online publications.
This photo will be in an upcoming book by National Geographic scheduled to be printed Fall of 2010. Titled "Simply Beautiful Photographs". It will also appear in a National Geographic 2011 Calendar.
