I cant get this song out of my head. I cant get a lot of his songs out of my head. I recently read Josh Ritters book, he wrote the book at the same time as he wrote this album. They go together. I have never read a book that felt like it had its own soundtrack. :)

These are a few more shots of my friends apple orchard. We drove by after the ice storm, I saw that it took down some of her apple trees and hazelnut trees. It made me a little sad.

HFF! I took a picture of this with my film camera too, I think I will send in my 2 rolls today :)

but yesterday I walked by this plant and it was all perky, like this day never happened

when it started to melt, it did not just drip away, it cracked and broke and rained chunks of ice. It sounded so cool and dangerous. I took all these pictures while hugging the side of the house, safely under its eaves. It was like pure magic, like a fairy tale world coming to life after a spell from the evil queen.
