Inspired by this image I went out and bought a box of Swan Vesta matches to photograph. I was disappointed to find the matches are no longer red but pink. With a bit of help from PotatoChop I made them the red colour I remember. Amazing the things you do when a thunderstorm is imminent and you're not going to be able to get of the house.
This is the colour I remember them.
