early 1900s family photos

on a recent trip to my grandparents', my parents looked through their albums and scanned lots of old family photos. since the trip, my dad has been emailing me a handful of photos each day, sometimes with descriptions and stories of the photos' subjects, including relatives i know, and some i never met.
