7/18 - Proud to be an Indonesian

Shaken by the recent blasts in Jakarta, but I'm grateful that none of my friends and families are hurt. Even so the impact will be felt by all of us, some way or another. i hope the country will unite and fight against the terror together.

Such awful news and I am pleased that your friends and family are unscathed - must still be so upsetting though. On a lighter note.... you do look great here, the colours are so complementary and the scarf as obi is lovely.

I know exactly how u feel... been thru the same thing with all the recent events in my home country of Iran... My family is also fine which is a blessing... we left Iran when i was a little kid.. Still very proud of my Persian heritage. Anyways, im so glad ur ok :) Take care.

Thanks again for all of your support. i've been living in the US by myself for the past 4 years due to my study. All my family and friends are still living in lndonesia. So last week after learning about the blast, i spent hours calling and/or find them online to make sure none of them are hurt. i think it's one of the problem we face while living in a faraway place, we worry of what may happen back home and can only hope that our family and friends are always healthy and safe.
