Art and I went back to Cactus Jungle to pick up more goodies for his house and my new office space.

I decided to get my first air plant! These plants are so unique and simple. They don't require any soil and you just need to run them under water about once a week.

It was so much fun designing how to display the plants and what type of fun pots to replant them into. I think the next step is to build a terrarium. :)

52 week macro project

Spring is here! The weather has gotten warmer very quickly and so the flowers have opened up in full bloom. Sorry for all those who have allergies, I'm sure this is not your favorite season.

I love the color of poppies and how striking they stand out. They do have that name for a reason! :)

This was taken during a picnic outing at Lake Chabot. This area is perfect for picnics, boating, fishing, running, and hiking. It offers beautiful views and amenities. I'll definitely be coming back here again soon.

52 week macro project

This week, I cut my hair on Thursday to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. This time I cut 9 inches off (the minimum is 8 inches). I wanted to have at least some hair to play with. Especially since wedding season is about to hit next month!

This is my third time donating my hair to this organization! I've taken photos of it every time, you can see them here. My goal is to do it at least 6 times, as it takes 6 ponytails to make one full wig. I'm half way there!

This year it was better timing, as spring is here and summer is just around the corner. It feels light and great for the warmer weather.
