Christmas at my parent's home along the Snake River, Southeastern Washington.

My parents had unexpected guests for Christmas dinner. This sweet doe was the first to show up. After she feasted on a delicious red apple, over half a dozen more showed up. She was noticeably larger around the middle than all the rest leaving us guessing if she would be a momma next year.

A frosty hike along Asotin Creek on December 10. Up high on the cliffs, the bighorns always find the nicest spots to soak up the winter sun. This is always our favorite "go to" destination in winter and early spring due to its low elevation and abundance of bighorn sheep.
