Fuld Ignites the Cubs

Samuel Babson Fuld was born on November 20, 1981 in Durham, New Hampshire and was selected in by the Cubs in the 10th round of the 2004 amateur draft. Fuld ignited the team in the lead off spot in Pittsburgh with two hits and a walk the night before. Giving Alfonzo Soriano two nights off, Fuld again went 2 for 4 with a double, single and a walk, scoring twice at Wrigley Field.
