Three-tier bento box

495ml total capacity, bought for US$1.50 at the Daiso store in Daly City. It needs a band to keep everything shut, but I like that I can use fewer layers (i.e. for my son) or all three (for myself) as necessary. Assembled view here. Blog entry here.

The seal is a little loose, so I wouldn't use it for sauces.

I saw them at Marukai 98 Cent Plus in Torrance (for a $1.50) and found them to be really small. Are you able to fit a lot of food in them?

artgalgenius> Well, total capacity is 495ml (think a 495 calorie lunch), so it's not quite enough for me without a side container of something (but it's more than ample for my two-year-old). Here are a couple of lunches I packed in them so you can see: meatball lunch and FakeMuffin sandwich lunch.

I'm sure I could figure this out mathematically, but what is the hight of the container when all three tiers are stacked?

Zaxton> Just got them out of the dishwasher -- they measure 3.5 inches stacked without the top domed lid, 4 inches stacked including the lid.
