Trick for freezing ground meat in small portions
Speed tip: Use a long chopstick or a ruler to make individual portions of ground foods right in freezer bags, so you can break off just as much as you need when cooking small amounts. Full details and variations here.

i got this speed tip from another mom of cooking the meat first, then freezing it, your trick will make it much more manageable. thanks also for the daiso tip, i went to the one in mtn view and got everything i needed. i'm actually looking forward to making cute little lunches, thanks for all the tips and inspiration. =D

Just another hint....after you make patti we take your finger and make a hole smack dab in the center...this will keep the meat from shrinking
