Lizard Ridge in flight

are these occupied?

I dutifully cleaned them out this winter. Usually the swallows nest in them and they seem to do it later than the other birds. No action (that I have seen) yet.

I started this blanket last November. I will give it to my daughter who turns 13 (yikes) on Mother's Day.

Except for the blocking, I loved every phase of this project. It flowed.

For the crochet edging and the seaming, I used a skein of Cascade 220 in a deep teal. I almost ran out while doing the border but what would a great knitting project be without a little drama?
