    We took a trip to Quebec City. It has been more than twenty years since I visited.

    I am still amazed that it takes just 5 hours by car to reach an old European City.

      As we wandered around the old city I saw a few for rent signs which triggered all sorts of daydreams. I visited in the winter 20 + years ago and remember the cold (more intense than Maine).

      This reminds me of an image from the film version of Hans Christian Andersen's 'The Snow Queen.'
