I'm getting this thing tonight; I've been a member of F. C. Porto for 25 years now (yes, I joined a couple of days after I was born, at the hand of my grandfather, which means I'm not the only insane person in the family, you see) and this is when you get your 'Roseta de Prata', which is basically a silver pin symbolizing your fidelity to the team. I'm getting mine tonight, so I had to get a dress and get all dolled up, and I took the chance to take some... glamour shots. I'm at a time when I need to prove myself that I can do more than just conceptual, that I'm not one of those photographers who just do one thing. I want to be able to do it all, and this is an experience for that.

how much of our lives is maintained through words? kept, nurtured, built through words? said, thought, thrown, shot. words get us from here to there, from strangeness to friendship, from friendship to love.

so much of our lives is maintained through words. and curiously, the moment you realize you're truly complete is the moment you're speechless.
