La palpebra della tempesta si abbassa
sul mare, alabastro tormentato dal febbrile
ramificarsi del fulmine.
Il fronte del vento m’investe,
la luce del giorno finisce
inghiottita dal gorgo dei tuoni.
Come un pavimento nero
frantumato da zoccoli giganteschi
cade pesante la pioggia, poi la furia di colpo
si placa.
Dagli eucalipti evapora il suono
della vita che riprende –
di cicale impreparate al ritorno
improvviso della luce.
