I love coming home to see these 2 waiting for me.

Thanks for playing along and having fun trying to find me in my old class photo yesterday. Mom always made sure I looked my best for picture day. I have NO idea what she was thinking for this one.

Many people commented on how everyone was looking to the left of the camera and they thought this was strange. I think ALL of our school portraits were like that. I'll have to look.

Our fun new flickr group is sharing some old photos of ourselves. (Come on....stop by and share an old photo in the weekly check-in thread... www.flickr.com/groups/makenewmistakes/ ). I started looking through some old school photos. Man...this is a long time ago. Some of the names come back......some don't. Some, I'm frankly having a hard time telling if it's a boy or a girl. Kids were weird looking in 1978 (and their heads seem much smaller).

Try to find me if you can (Lauren, you don't get to guess).

We walked on a couple beaches in Florida where the shells were piled up several inches deep. In fact, shells are so common down there that they use them in place of gravel sometimes. Many hours were spent searching for cool shells.
