Ode To A Melting Candle

Ode To A Melting Candle by Lukadium.
Yet what is this before me,
Your enchanting skin
has softened and your
walls have opened
Candle you are crying
Red tears of despair.
has your beauty burned to long

A beautiful body,
now melting into a misshapen mess.
You’re dancing spirit,
flickers in weakness.
Tears trickle down
past bumps and grooves,
like a river down a mountain side.

Fallen candle for my sight
You have sacrificed your flame,
Your sleek perfect body now
A puddle of stiffening colour
Rest now, let me douse your
Weary flame, for you have
Burnt and danced too long.
