I had a fantastic day out in Edinburgh yesterday with my friend James. We went to a pinhole camera exhibition and workshop and checked out the exhibitions at the National Portrait Gallery.
I felt the first faint stirrings of inspiration following yesterday's session of taking pinhole shots with an empty tea caddy at the workshop and so today at home I loaded up some film holders with paper. I've gone on about paper negs before on my stream and I did find that today the results were very contrasty. It was an amazingly sunny day so I might have benefitted from pre-flashing. Still, I now have a rough idea of exposure times for ISO 3 in my back garden on a bright day :-)
