Just hours before hitting the new year, and 2009 sure has been quite a ride. A lot of energy had been devoted to work, apparently I am living out of my destiny as prescribed in one succinct fortune telling cookie, "You will be involved in many humanitarian projects." I feel utterly grateful to play a small part in changing the lives of disabled youth, and there is still much to do.

The rest of life evolved in that kaleidoscope fashion, morphing from one shape to another but with essentially the same pieces. I had secretly mourned for the loss of friendship, energized by the meeting of creative minds and seeing the twinkle in loved ones' eyes. There were perhaps too many days when 24 hours felt too few, when the mind and the heart had to battle it out for priority.

All right, enough contemplation, time to get ready for some end of year celebration. Have a good one, dear Flickr.
