A handful of lucky people (mostly people who supported the kickstarter at a particular level and chose the art show package) got to see a very one of a kind performance along with the amazing art featured in a book that will make it's way to me eventually (and I can't wait to see it!). It was held at Momenta Art, a non profit gallery space in Bushwick. Despite it being 100 degrees, and, after I took a break to get some air and thereby lost my previous spot, a bit challenging since a lot of the taller folk were standing around those who had sat down... I tried to capture a little of the madness that was created by the one and only AFP and her amazing partners in crime.

In addition to the art and performances, my amazing friend Andrea Jarosh catered the event, bringing an array of delicious gourmet sweets that were enthusiastically consumed by those attending the event. I knew she was epic, but this was certainly proof of not only her talents in the culinary arts, but of her generosity in donating her time and resources to share such a wonderful gift with us all. For anyone local to or visiting NYC, you should go enjoy some of her delicious offerings at Donatella!
