Grandpa's Barn

This last week I had a chance to go to my Grandparents house. It has been a little while since I have been there. But I truly enjoyed myself. While I was their I had a chance to climb around the old farm. I was looking for textures of course. While I was in the old barn, I had a little bit of a flash back. I was reminded of my childhood, of all the my summers that I have spent in that old barn. Of the times my older brother and I spent climbing around in the hay, swinging on the old rope swing. Just being kids. It also brought back memories of haling the hay in, of getting up just before the sun rise to move pipe. I still to this day believe my Grandpa arranged his irrigation time that early to teach my brother and I some sort of lesson. Someday I might figure that one out. But the feelings were deep and made my life just a little bit more real. Thanks grandpa for all that you have done. I hope that this picture captures all those feelings.
