One from this evening, taken from Moffat Beach looking north toward Dicky Beach and Currumundi. It is a typical summer evening in Qld, warm, humid with rain.
Canon EOS60D, 3 shot HDR (-1, 0, +1), f/16, ISO400 @21mm. The exposures for the bracketing were 5s, 10s & 20s with noise reduction off.
Processed in Photomatix and then colours, sharpening and cropped in PSE.

Went down a couple of weeks ago to Pumicestone Passage to get some photos of the approaching storm. The storm didn't turn out to well, but this bird came and walked along in the front of the scene and made for a nice photo.
3 shot HDR (+1,0,-1), f/22, ISO100, @18mm, Canon EOS60D. Edited in Photomatix, sharpened and cropped in PSE.

Also - anyone know the type of the bird??? I am useless with that kind of information! :)

the water is finally nice and clear here on the Sunshine Coast!
Went down this evening to get some photos, even though the surf is quite small. This one is pretty much the same straight from the camera, have just increased sharpening, and increased the fill light and blacks a little. The green colour was the colour from the original photo.

Went down to Moffat Headland today to try out my new filters. This is a 5 shot HDR, (-3, -2, 0, +2, +3), with a polarising filter, plus ND4 and ND8 filters, ISO100, f/20 @ 18mm. Combined in photomatix, with cropping, sharpening and colours in PSE.
I wanted to try and get the water movement effect while the sun was out.

I use to see this landscape nearly twice a week driving out to work when i lived in Mackay for a few years, and I always liked it as the rest of the area is normally brown and dry. I had the option this week to take a photo and grabbed it!
