A photo from a cat cafe in Ashiya, Hyogo, Japan.

Its a photo of the shop owner and one of her cat! Cat cafe is a special cafe where has a lot of cats around you when you have coffee and desert. Obviously people dont go there for coffee.. most of people go there becus they love cats or they want to "heal their soul" ( i guess they always have too much stress)

 

This owner has over 10 cats in the shop, which she got from another person who spend so much money and build 3 houses to adopt street cats or cats who lost their owners.

In japan, street cats or dogs will be put into the animal shelter and then wait for people to come and adopt them. After a certain time the ones who are not adpoted will all be killed.There are over 300,000 dogs and cats get killed there every year...

 

The owner said, actually Cat cafe or dog cafe is a way to rescue those animals, and she thinks it doesnt matter if the shop makes money or not, she just wana those cats to have a better life...
