• By the gods, look at all that cheese. - Wafflebottom
  • I just wish this piece was done in a really ingenius way... Anyways, I have no idea why I am nitpicking on this clearly stunning creation. It is who I am. - Deus "Big D." Otiosus

Wow! Great job! What did you use to get the characters on the number chips on each hexagon?

  8. lego27bricks (11 months ago | reply)

Awesome! I've never actually played this game, but this creation really makes me want to.

I played on this board! It was pretty fun except people kept robbing my clay, that's why I lost. Had plenty of sheep, though...

    Clay...Um, it's brick, Kapeesh?

  12. _Publius_ (11 months ago | reply)

    Wow. Looks awesome.

It must have been very tedious building the same shapes over and over again though. It would have driven me nuts.

^^^ My version's rulebook uses both terms. (and it's "capiche"...)

Man I got so much wood playing this at Brickworld....

Absolutely incredible build, and fantastically fun. I think this proves it. Everything is better in LEGO.

I trade three sheep and two ore for two clay and as many straw as you can. Also I promise I won't build a village at that port you want.

  29. rinsju (11 months ago | reply)

Sweet, now you'll need to add the ohter catan games!

  30. curtydc (11 months ago | reply)

Dude, this is a real masterpiece. The parts count on this must be staggering!

  33. quý (11 months ago | reply)

Wowee. It's amazing you got such perfect hexagon shapes.

  34. Shadow Viking (11 months ago | reply)

Yes. You mine bricks out of the ground, whole. It's pretty convenient.

This is, as I've told you, absolutely brilliant. And a lot of fun to play on. :)

    ps: i've got wood
pps: does anyone want any sheep?
ppps: does anyone have any wheat?

  35. "Squeezy" (11 months ago | reply)

    Ooooh! Carcassone would be great!

  36. Jameson42 (11 months ago | reply)

Carcassonne would be very interesting, though I wonder if anyone could build it so close to real size like this is. There's a lot of detail packed in a Carcassonne tile.

  37. Eklund! (11 months ago | reply)

This is incredible! I saw your first pics of this project and I have to say it is quite impressive! I have an enormous request. Would you be willing to break down how you accomplished the perfect hexagonal shape?

  40. eldeeem (11 months ago | reply)

^I plan to do that soon, along with the rowboat from the castle. :)
